Each year, corporate philanthropy helps AFFCF further our mission by contributing financial and in-kind resources, expertise and increased visibility. In short, they enable AFFCF to expand our critical programming, reach more children and youth in foster care and achieve greater impact overall. These community partnerships also foster a culture of social responsibility within the corporate sector, leading to more innovative solutions, increased operational efficiencies and positive change across the foster care community. Here are a number of ways our corporate partners can show up and help AFFCF change the story for thousands of kids in foster care each year.

Scholar Dinner
Corporate sponsorships support a fine dining experience for a small group of AFFCF Scholars at the start of each semester (September and January) while also providing encouragement opportunities for donors and volunteers to hear from youth pursuing their post-secondary dreams. Event sponsorships available.
Giving Days
Help AFFCF double the impact of giving day (e.g. Arizona Gives Day, Giving Tuesday) donations by offering to match charitable contributions up to $10,000. Corporate matching opportunities help AFFCF increase our capacity to serve more children, youth and young adults across Arizona.
Annual Signature Fundraiser
Each May, AFFCF celebrates National Foster Care Awareness month with its largest fundraiser of the year benefitting children and youth in foster care. The event brings together our largest supporters, community leaders and youth advocates who help further AFFCF’s mission and impact areas. Event sponsorships available.
Annual Graduation Event
Graduation is a big deal at AFFCF and we honor the resilience and successful accomplishments of youth enrolled in our Keys to Success and Scholarship programs. Partner with AFFCF to deliver a fun and entertaining event that shows AFFCF youth how incredibly proud we are of them. Event sponsorships available.
Care Package Event
Sponsorships
Help AFFCF send care packages to show youth in foster care that someone cares about them and their success. Sponsor a care package event by purchasing, donating and/or assembling care package items such as blankets, mugs, snacks, gift cards, etc.
Employment-Specific Opportunities and Internships
Help youth in foster care gain meaningful work experience with your company by offering employment-specific opportunities and/or internships.
Speaking Opportunities
Invite AFFCF to speak at your organization to increase employee awareness of the needs of children and youth in foster care, as well as of the Arizona Foster Care Tax Credit and employer matching opportunities.
In-Kind Donations
Donate in-kind tickets to sporting events, concerts or other experiences for youth in foster care.
Board/Committee Service
Bring your leadership and passion to serve by joining AFFCF’s Board of Directors, Development or Special Events Committees.
Notes of Encouragement
We can all use words of encouragement – set aside time for your group to write notes of encouragement for children and youth in foster care to let them know someone cares about them.
Third-Party Fundraisers
Show your company cares about young people in foster care by hosting a third-party fundraiser such as a golf tournament, fashion show, casino night, etc.
Program Sponsorships
By sponsoring one of AFFCF’s key impact programs (Childhood Activities, Keys to Success, Post-Secondary), you ensure children and youth have access to the experiences, support and services that their non-foster care peers have.
