When we first met Davin earlier this year, the Yavapai County youth was working to finish his GED so he could enlist in the military and eventually have a career in public service. In care since he was 13 years old, Davin wanted to change the past and make good choices for his life. So he enlisted in the Keys to Success (KTS) program to help him realize his vision.
Dedicated to Success
Fast forward nearly six months later, Davin is thriving even in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic! It hasn’t been exactly easy. All the GED testing sites in his area closed as the pandemic raced across Arizona. It didn’t stop Davin! He drove 50 miles away to Flagstaff three different times to take the GED tests, which he passed with a high 90 percent! Every step of the way, his career development specialist (CDS) and KTS was with him.

Davin has also taken on a full-time job with assistance from Keys to Success. He loves his job and remains committed to creating a bigger, brighter future for himself.
