Kindness, thoughtfulness, positivity. These are three traits that encompass a young man with whom our Keys to Success team has the great pleasure of working. Vincent is a young person who has worked hard to secure a job. For the past month, he has been working at Family Dollar and working to create a bright future for himself.
Shining Personality
When we first met Vincent, we could see his positivity and personality radiate from him. His employment development specialist (EDS), Noelle, spent weeks helping him find work, meeting at least once a week to job search. During that time, Vincent focused not only on finding a job but also preparing to work. Together he and his EDS completed ready-to-work learning modules and had honest discussions on how to be an excellent employee.
Now that Vincent is employed, he’s able to use the skills he’s learned through Keys to Success and is becoming successful in his job.
“It’s wonderful to see all Vincent’s hard work begin to propel him into a successful future,” says Noelle.
