My name is Silvia Jordan and I am a senior at Arizona State University studying art and painting. I will graduate in December 2020, which is undeniably exciting. It feels like all the hard work from these past four years is finally coming to fruition.
The truth is, I could not reach this milestone without the AFFCF scholarship. As art major, my classes require many different supplies. Art supplies in general are expensive and difficult to keep up with, along with the other demands of life. The AFFCF scholarship helped me not to worry and to continue my best foot forward in my schoolwork and my art career.
